The floating markets Mekong illustrate the shape of life here, where people live, shop and eat and sell their boats and houses on the water. The raid was long, soft, squeaky bus, through the rice fields and other fields of all kinds of food that is grown. We stopped for lunch in Vinh Long. We arrived in Can Tho dynamics, the largest city in the delta of the afternoon and spent the time to explore this bustling port town and living. We had a small motor boat and made our way up the river to our first “stop” – Phung Hiep market, the largest floating market, located at the intersection of seven main channels.
A maze of hundreds of scattered River sampan occupied samples lifted from their property by high bamboo poles, to watch from afar. Coconuts, melons, mangoes, many turtles, snakes, vegetables, fish, urns and vases, and more all crammed onto ships. In between, floating restaurants, floating bars, petrol stations, and numerous craft shops floating winding deftly between the boats. We went to land for a bike ride on roads quiet afternoon, near Can Tho, cycling through small villages and beautiful landscapes, and despite language barriers, the meeting very enjoyable and welcoming.
The next morning we visited the floating market of Cai Rang taste, depending on experience. Firstly, a market commodity, is always busy, keeping all the features of local life. After the market, we visited some industries where the inhabitants little house from rice paper, coconut candy.
